Glass Drop Earring

This design is inspired by patterns found on the Tapa cloth which is made in several different Pacific Islands. Tapa is a cloth made from the bark of the paper mulberry tree, which is beaten to form a sheet and decorated with traditional symbols.

Cut from an up-cycled bottle using diamond tools and finished with handmade recycled Sterling Silver hooks.

Hook length: 19mm (0.75 in), Earring Length 43mm (1.7 in)

Glass sources- Green: Jagermeister Schnapps or Wine bottle.  Light Blue: Bombay Sapphire Gin.  Dark Blue: Weleda Oil or Wine bottle. Purple : Old windows
